     . . . . The government's attack on the Harwood organization began in 1974 and continued until the gold investors had been "crucified" - - by freezing their assets for many years - - until the price of gold had receded in the 1980's, thus wiping out their gains.

 

 

 

 

 

      Col. E.C. Harwood, founder of the American Institute for Economic ResearchDied of a heart attack brought on by the harassment of his firm and clientele by vicious cultists who controlled the Carter government in the late 1970's. Too much damage had been done to save the situation under Ronald Reagan.
